People who code because they like understanding how things work.
People who open documentation instead of waiting for someone to explain everything.
People who have built small products, scripts, automations, experiments or AI projects simply because they wanted to know whether they could.
You may still be early in your career.
But your curiosity should not be.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Depending on your strengths, you may contribute to:

- Full stack development.
- Python development.
- Applied AI and machine learning.
- APIs and integrations.
- Automation workflows.
- Product experimentation.
- Debugging and testing.
- Technical research.
- Prototyping.
- Internal engineering tools.
The exact work may vary.
Your fundamentals should not.
Preferred Qualifications:
Your Craft
We are interested in candidates with foundations in some of:
- Python
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React / Next.js
- Node.js
- APIs
- SQL / Databases
- Git
- Data structures
- Programming fundamentals
- Machine learning
- LLMs
- Automation tools
- Linux / Docker
You do not need to know all of these.
But you should be able to code independently in at least one language.
What We Notice
We notice interns who:
- Have GitHub projects that were not required by college.
- Debug logically.
- Read documentation.
- Can explain their own code.
- Have broken something and learned from it.
- Are comfortable admitting when they do not know something.
- Learn unfamiliar tools quickly.
- Ask why a system was designed a certain way.
- Care about understanding, not just getting output.
AI & Your Craft
We encourage intelligent use of AI coding tools.
But if AI writes most of your code and you cannot explain it, this internship is not for you.
You should be able to:
- Write code yourself.
- Read unfamiliar code.
- Debug it.
- Explain your logic.
- Reject generated code when it is wrong.
AI should accelerate your engineering ability.
It should not manufacture it.
You Might Not Enjoy This Internship If
- You cannot code without AI.
- Your projects are mostly copied tutorials.
- You dislike debugging.
- You need every task broken into exact steps.
- You are interested in AI only because it is currently popular.
